Reality manipulated. As the images are redefine the world

Until 17 January 2010, at the Center for Contemporary Culture Strozzina (CCCS) of Florence,
23 international artists, told through the photo shoots, the myriad ways in which you can represent the real.In a world where technology has made it possible to capture everything that surrounds us, through photographs and videos, reality has begun and take different forms, and immersed herself in the world of possibilities, where reigns the ambiguity between real and probable present and past, real and apperent. The exhibition shows works by Sonja Brass (Germany, 1968), in the series "The Quiet of Dissolution", seems to photographing natural disasters, the peak of their performance, is impressed with the photos of tornadoes and lava flows, but in reality uses reconstructed in expertly realized miniature. Osang Gwon (Korea, 1974), creates "Fuse" a veritable sculpture photograph of a motorcyclist, the fruit of an alliance of more shots of details, which are to create a three-dimensional reality.
