XII Festival Giapponese

From 19 to 21 November 2010 in Florence will be held, as is the case for several years, the Japanese Festival in the beautiful Limonaia di Villa Strozzi. The Japanese Festival was born in 1999 thanks to a group of people who built both Japanese and Italian Association for Japanese Culture named Laicac. The purpose of the group was to promote culture and customs of Italy and Japan to promote exchanges between the two countries have much to offer. The festival during the week and offers many different activities for everyone: dance, folk songs, performances of Japanese culture.

Also you can drink Japanese tea, wearing a traditional kimono, admiring the great masters of martial arts and more will be set up exhibitions with an exhibition of prints and photographs of famous Japanese photographers to tell the story and give us testimony of this land of many colors . Like every year, Japanese cuisine is one of the protagonists of the festival and during this stand will be set up where you can taste the dishes of Japanese culture. The festival, every year, the bearer of a culture and will promote cultural exchange between Japan and Italy, two countries that have much to offer in all areas and why not an opportunity to both learn from each 'else.
